Andrew V. Kayes, M.D.

Attending Physician

Dr. Andrew Kayes is an experienced board-certified Musculoskeletal Radiologist. He is an attending physician of radiology at Hawaii Advanced Imaging and the medical director of Maui Diagnostic Imaging. Recognized as an expert in the field, Dr. Kayes has authored or co-authored numerous publications on Skeletal and Musculoskeletal Radiology. In addition, he is an Assistant Professor in the department of Radiological Sciences at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Dr. Kayes earned his bachelor’s degree from Duke University, where he graduated first in his class of 1,800 students. He went on to graduate from the Duke University School of Medicine before completing his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of California at Los Angeles Medical Center. After serving as Chief Resident at UCLA Medical Center, Dr. Kayes completed his fellowship at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, specializing in Musculoskeletal Imaging. Dr. Kayes is certified by the American Board of Radiology and holds licenses to practice medicine in California, Colorado, Hawaii and Kentucky.

Dr. Kayes is active in the American College of Radiology, serving as Secretary and Councilor for the Hawaii Radiologic Society.
